Mountain is a strong word. It's really more of a hill, mound, or rock pile. A butte, as some call it. Semantics aside, A Mountain is always a great hike, albeit an easy one. If it's fitness you're wanting, then plan on doing it a few times. If you just want a nice hike with a view, its awesome. Great for families with little kids. During the day, you might spot some rare wildlife including snakes, rabbits, coyotes, lizards, and yikes, bees! At night, you might spot college kids doing heaven knows what up there! Seeing the city lights during a night hike are well worth it! Ambient city light makes the trail barely hike-able without a flashlight, but flashlights make it much easier. Have fun!

Amazing view, especially at night or during sunsets. Definitely wi give you sore legs but totally worth the effort for the scenery
A\ mountain has become another home to me. I am absolutely obsessed with this incline hike and recommend it to anyone who is a beginner and expert at hiking. You can use it for pure incline or just for a nice endurance and stamina builder. Half of the mountian is a slide. The other half is pure stairs and mountain but very fun to hike either with friends or a significant other. I would recommend alone since it could be dangerous. But I definitely recommend it for a fun time!!
I had a great time here and I will come back every weekend.
Good hike for beginners. Can be quite steep at places. Avoid it on weekends as it can get crowded by ASU students. It should take around 20 minutes to get to the top if you're hiking leisurely.
